Celtic Animal Fetishes (page 1) |
|
|
The Celts honored and revered animals as sacred beings; they used animal symbols and remains for decorative and religious purposes. The animals themselves were symbols of natural power, and were used as representations of positive attributes found in humans, such as: honor, loyalty, and courage.
These fetishes are meant to help one connect with the animal which possesses the power desired. They can be held in the hand, placed in a pocket or purse, or mounted on a frame and hung on the wall. There are 29 different animals available out of an eventual 33 based on "The Druid Animal Oracle" by Philip and Stephanie Carr-Gomm.
Each animal is fired white earthenware clay that is painted, antiqued and sealed by the artist - with none measuring over 3" in any direction. A description of the animal's powers will be sent with each purchased.
Prices:
1 for $13.00
3 for $36.00
Please, have Item # and description ready when placing an order.
Below you will find pictures of each animal with their Gaelic name in " " and a few words of power attributes.
