Tali Set
These are fired white clay representations of knucklebones used by the Greeks and Romans as a dice game. Originally real sheep or goat bones were used but later they were made of glass, lead, wood, etc... These dice were found all over the Roman Empire - some of the finest examples are on display in the London Museum and were found along Hadrian's Wall.

Each "dice" is approx. 2" long and has four distinct sides. They are wrapped in a painted pleather circle and each set comes with history and directions on play.

ITEM#087 $20.00 set
